Giant Ballistae and Heavy Onagers are great but are not required to rush. Start with 6 units in a max stack and reduce to 5 once you start mixing in artillery.

Ranged: Briton Slingers are your core.

These tips are largely Iceni specific, but some can be applied to other factions as well. To be honest, this as my first campaign on Hard. After nerfs to chariots and improvements to AI play (i.e., more aggression toward human players, especially early on) this statement is really only true after youвЂ™ve fully taken the first two provinces in the isles and have established a foothold on the mainland.
